Azores Adventure with Caley Vanular & Anna Gudauskas
This assignment took me to the Azores with Caley Vanular and Anna Gudauskas to produce imagery for the Billabong Women Adventure Division line. Caley and Anna were involved in shaping the concept and logistics. I handled all photography, including surf, lifestyle, and environmental images.
The island itself was a big part of the work. Volcanic terrain, black sand beaches, rugged coastline, and natural hot springs created a wide range of visual options in a small area. The texture and contrast of the landscape made it one of my favorite places I have photographed and shaped the final look of the images more than any planned shot list.
